Our commitment to being good to the earth applies to the creatures that roam here, too. We don’t test our products on animals and we make sure our ingredients aren’t tested on animals either. You also won’t find animal-derived ingredients in our formulas. Back To Earth Skin never uses beeswax, collagen, honey, lanolin, shark liver oil–based squalene or any other non-vegan components that are standard in the beauty industry.

Yes, our ingredients are sustainably sourced to the highest standards. But that’s just one part of the equation. We work hard to minimize our carbon footprint in other ways by using materials like sugarcane and recycled plastic resin for our packaging, reducing waste by printing directly on our containers (instead of on labels) and forgoing cardboard boxes for each product. We even try to use square bottles and jars so we can fit more in one case and cut down on transport emissions.
